A water leak can be a daunting sight. But these can vary in severity. If the leak is coming from somewhere away from plumbing fixtures (e.g a light in the ceiling) this could be a split water pipe or a leaking drain. The fastest way to tell is whether the leak is always there i.e pressured water pipe, or infrequent i.e a waste or water pipe from an irregularly used fixture or fitting such as a bath.
